Let’s be real for a second, creating content can feel like a lot. Sometimes it feels like the algorithm is yelling at you to post more, more, more. But here’s the truth: you don’t need to create more content.
👉🏽 You need a system that makes creating content easy, fun, and totally aligned with your lifestyle.
Because here’s the thing, you are your main differentiator. Nobody else is you. And when you’ve got a flow that actually works for you, you can show up consistently without burning out.
Here’s my 4-step system to make content creation so easy you’ll actually look forward to it (yes, really):
✨ Step One: Ideation
Okay, confession: I still love binging content 🙃 but instead of just scrolling aimlessly, I pay attention to ideas that spark my creativity.
👉🏽 The secret? Notice what you could recreate in your own vibe and save it! I use my Trello Smart Content Planner (seriously, it’s my brain in app form) so I always have inspo ready to go. It’s like keeping a little vault of good vibes and creative magic.
✨ Step Two: Batch Filming
This is where the magic happens! You pick a day (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or even quarterly) and film all your ideas in one go.
Think about it like meal prepping, but for your content. Instead of stressing every single day, you knock it all out at once. Smart, right?
And hey, if batching on your own feels overwhelming, I got you! I’m hosting an In-Person Content Day on September 25th in San Diego where we’ll batch two whole months of content in just a couple of hours. (Yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds 😉).
✨ Step Three: Editing
Now, set a day just for editing. Whether it’s for the week, two weeks, or even a full month, editing in bulk keeps your visuals cohesive and your messaging super clear.
Plus, it means less time stressing about transitions and more time doing whatever you want with your free time, you're welcome.
Oh and if you are new to creating reels and you'd like to learn the basics of editing, take a look at my Reel Ready mini course which has detailed tutorials on how to use the Instagram reel editor, Edits (Instagram's own editing app) and Capcut (both mobile and desktop version, yes you can edit on your computer so you don't have to be squinting staring at your phone.
✨ Step Four: Scheduling
Here’s where you can play around with what works best for you.
✨ Option 1: Use a scheduling platform to automate everything.
✨ Option 2 (my fave): Save all your ready-to-post reels in a special album on your phone so they’re easy to grab and post whenever you’re ready.
✨ Option 3 (my fave): I have all my reels organized inside my Trello Smart Content Planner, with everything I will need for it: The cover, caption, audio (if it applies), along with the link to that reel saved on my Google Drive. I just like organization because it saves me time and it calms my brain.
The whole point? Work with your lifestyle, not against it, so you can shine bright and attract ideal clients with your amazing energy.
At the end of the day, content shouldn’t feel like a chore. It should feel fun, flowy, and aligned with you, the powerhouse visionary woman that you are.
So next time you feel that overwhelm creeping in, remember: It’s not about the destination, it’s about the ride.
