Don’t Make More Content Until You Read This!
I get it!
Creating content used to take me sooo long that I kept constantly pushing it to the end of my task list too! It just felt like such a chore😬
When I first started making content for myself, I hadno plan.
The only thing that I had figured out were my content pillars: the topics I was gonna post about, but that was it.
I would grab an idea from one of the content pillars, take my phone and my stand, and go out to film whatever came to me.
Filming this way would sometimes take hours because there was no framework to follow, and I would often end up having to re-film because during editing, I would notice I missed an important part of the message.🤯
Needless to say, this was NOT a sustainable process, and after a while, I started to burn out from the effort involved.
I knew I needed a more efficient way to streamline my content creation, so I researched and tested tools that would save me time and energy. 🤔
These three tools made all the difference 👇🏽
✨Canva:
When I first started making content, one of the biggest challenges was creating professional and consistent content without spending hours on every single post.
So, I turned to Canva. I spent some time creating a variety of reel cover templates that aligned with my brand style.
These templates were simple, yet impactful, and helped me maintain a cohesive aesthetic across all my posts.😎
Now, every time I posted a reel, I didn’t have to start from scratch designing the cover.
Instead, I could just grab a pre-made template, tweak the text or image as needed, and boom – I was done.
This small change saved me at least 20 minutes per post, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it adds up over time!

✨Capcut:
Next, I found Capcut, which helped me save even more time.
While I loved editing, it was really time-consuming, especially when I was already spending so much time filming and getting the right footage.
Once I started using Capcut, everything changed.
I dove into learning some of the cool features and editing hacks it offers, which allowed me to make my videos look super polished without spending hours on every single edit.💃🏽
Once I became more familiar with the app, I was able to cut my editing time down by about an hour per post.
That’s a massive win when you’re consistently posting content!

✨Trello:
But it wasn’t until I gave into learning Trello that I saw the biggest change because now I had one specific place where I could organize all my content ideas, have all my reel scripts, and create all my caption templates, all much more pleasing to the eye.😍
This saved me much more time than I could ever imagine.
The best part about Trello is that it’s visual, so I could see everything in front of me, easily move things around, and quickly update or add new ideas as they came to me.
This made planning and creating content so much easier and more enjoyable and I was able to plan and organize my content so much more efficiently.😉
I went from feeling overwhelmed and scattered to having a clear roadmap for all my posts.

These tools allowed me to plan my content with much more ease and structure, which meant I could focus on creating instead of stressing over every detail.
